The very first thing.. given it's someone you have not met before.. not someone from school, or someone from work, that you get to know first.. it's usually the looks.. after that, I'd say it has to be personality, compatibility etc.. for the relationship to last. I'm sure I had my eyes on my better half, before she had her eyes on me.. I played the game, and tried to be entertaining as possible .. Then after awhile... it's like the song says "Gettin' up the nerve.... is a man's job"
