Time to listen up folks !
Iran wants to kill us ! It is coming to a show down and while the American people turn a deaf ear to the problem it grows larger by the hour. You like the way you live and your nice comfort zone ? There is a large force out there ready to take it away. I support our troops and President Bush !!! When the dog shows up at our door what will the bleeding hearts have to say ? Oh you can't do that Wake up America !!!

I am getting tired of reading statements like:
“I thought President Bush was the one who chose to invade Iraq.” No it was the President, Congress, and all voters who elected the President and Congress to begin with – ordinary people like who and me who chose representatives to make important decisions like this on our behalf. Decisions that we as “arm chair” individuals are not always qualified to make. We are a democracy, not a dictatorship here in America. Take responsibility as an American for pete’s sake! WE chose to invade Iraq by a vast majority. I also get tired of hearing stuff like: The reasons for going to war keep/kept changing, WMD’s, threat to America, even though it was Saudis who blew up the Towers, not Irags. No it was Islamic extremists who blew up the Towers and these types of people exist in many countries, even our own. Perhaps it is a smart move to draw them into Iraq and kill them there, right next door to Iran. Better than killing them over here after a terrorist event over here! |

One more thing. 10X as many Amercians die on our highways in car crashes as die in Iraq during this war. Why don't we pull out of the highway system? Because it is WAY to dangerous for Amercians to use! We cannot continue to loose 10's of thousands of innocent Amercians each year on our roads and highways. Over 100,000 Americans have been crushed, mutilated, and died on our highways since 9/11, not to mention all the injured who survive such accidents. Why isn't this in our headlines like "the war" with so few casualties by comparison? And just think how much we could save in Car insurance if we all would just drive bicycles! This would have the added bonus of reducing greenhouse gases which should make the environmentalists very happy. Why don't the democrats get behind this, and add it to their platform? Why? You know why.. It won't help them get elected to power is why.

I gonna bet you all listen to a lot of talk radio ?
I find all this talk of Iraq so tiring. That country has been in chaos for a 100 years.. and it will be for another 100 years. you want to argue for sending more troops that way.. go ahead. if you really think it'll help to send more troops.. then fine. But some of these other arguments are absurd. and to compare driving on the highway to troops ordered into battle is crazy as well. instead of comparing how many dead total.. you'd have to take a sample of how many folks in Iraq, than compared to the TOTAL number of people on American highways.. right ?

We are there. We need to finish the job and then get out of there. I think we need to give President Bush's plan a chance. I liked most of what he had to say. He did make a huge mistake going to war with Iraq, but it would be wrong to pack up and come home now. I doubt there will ever be peace in Iraq. At least we can help to restore some sort of order. Repair what we destroyed and come home. I am for being very selective who we allow in our country. If a person is from a country who supports terrorism then don't allow them into the USA.

This is just what the enemy wants from the USA is division and the Dems are sure doing a bang up job at laying waste to our government thanks to our great swing vote. Hot, cold, hot, cold ! Depends on which day you talk to the swing vote. Sad ! Isabella this is not directed at you just at the Dems they are "slack jaw" socialist that's all.

Instead when someone chooses to say "Yes we made a mistake in Iraq" or someone chooses to say "don't believe we should have ever gone in" it would seem first we have to attack them, then LABEL them. call them unpatriotic.. or "this is what the enemy wants" etc etc... everyone's gone mad.

"this is what the enemy wants"
Good to see you back up there RR ! To hold the line is not what the enemy wants us to do. With the backing of the Dems we can see they are getting what they want. I think that Iran is a major source of our problems and that they will soon either implode or get blasted by the US or the Jews. This same lack of back bone is what happened in Vietnam and in the Korean "conflict" and the Dems will run like a dog every time. The running has started so lets see how long it takes for US to get bit in the ass. Look around at who is running for president in 08. The menu looks better at McDonalds.

I'm all for a strong military. I agree Iran is a bigger problem than Iraq is. Those people in Iraq either want freedom or they don't. And Look if we want the damn oil in Iraq, then heck, lets get right down to it, lets just take control of the place, call it NEW TEXAS or something. and Arrest EVERYONE. But as long as U.S. soldiers are over there playing local "police", there will be a high price to pay. you know, the more I think about it, the more I like this idea.. will call it New Texas, import some Armidillos over there.

Seems Bush had plenty of time
"Seems" that we need more time. Luke warm is no place to be. So with that said the USA needs to go to down town Iran where all the insurgents are coming from and clean a little house then maybe we can get out of there. I viewed a report last night that showed the Iraq government is doing very well and the insurgents are getting their butts kicked so to quit just short of the finish line is not smart. Making Iraq into new Texas is a bad idea and making Texas into New Iran is even worse. "I" think the Jews will do the deed and soon. The deed being going to down town Iran and busting their ass
Thanks to Isabella and RR for your input I do respect your thoughts even when I do not agree. Keep up the post. Isaac |
