I don't think the newspaper *companies* are suffering any. All this is saying is that paper readership is declining while Internet readership is growing. Either way, they still sell ads. I once heard that the cost of the paper barely covers the printing cost. I would rather read "the paper" for free on the internet than pay money to read it on paper, if they make the same money either way...

Duh. How is this a surprise? The Times and all of the Gannett universe is nothing but swill. The internet has given people the ability to read something other than liberal propaganda. The public is no longer force-fed lies, they can choose to read the truth and opinions other than Gannett's online. |
