A man with a shotgun opened fire on motorists and police who stopped to help with what appeared to be a wreck on a downtown freeway early Sunday, killing two people and wounding two others before taking his own life, authorities said.

I just can't stand it when I hear about these terrible murders where the shooter kills himself after he kills everyone else. It's bad enough you choose to kill other people, but by taking your own life, you deny mourning families their justice and you deny yourself the pain of regret and remorse. It's cowardly and despicable.
