Here we go.....Believe me, every time I drive my 26,000 pound tow-truck over these bridges(20-40 times a day)-I'm thinking about that minesota bridge! If there was a sign on each bridge that said " this bridge is 50% safe" or "40% safe",would you use it? I, personally, would like to see the reports on our local bridges.

Oh no this freaks me out! I drive over the Jimmie Davis bridge several times a day and it is ancient!

I read an article last week that said one of the first bridges in Texas is on the Highway I live on!!!!!!! How is that for a warm and fuzzy???? Thankfully, I don't have to drive over it unless I just want to drive an unusual way to Shreveport which I will no longer be taking now that the word is out!

Hahahaha, I guess this year's and last's hurricane seasons were too slow so now everyone is going to start being overly-paranoid about bridges instead.
Would somebody please be sure to email me when this blows over and we're supposed to worry about SARS again? Or bird flu. Or mad cow disease. |
