No, we will not turn in our weapons. This country was founded on our rights to bear arms and for religous freedom. I won't back down.

Just like public radio to be so far left
Subject: GO ARMY
Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this!!!! I was listening to the radio the other day, and I heard one of the all-time best comeback lines in my life. Note: This is an exact replication of National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster, and US Army General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?" GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting." FEMALE INTERVIEWER: "Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?" GENERAL REINWALD: "I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range." FEMALE INTERVIEWER: "Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?" GENERAL REINWALD: "I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm. " FEMALE INTERVIEWER: "But you're equipping them to become violent killers." GENERAL REINWALD: "Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you? " The radio went silent and the interview ended. And all I could think was, "Go Army!" |

It's all about choices. We're all equipped with basically the same stuff but how we choose to use it defines us.

The government could save some money
Just cut funding for the political agenda of Public Radio. The tax payer should not be funding those slack jawed liberal socialist.

Enough Is Enough!
I am so tired of hearing: "this country was founded on this, and this country was founded on that"
Firstly: "Shut the #*#* up!" Secondly: Wake up, the world has changed and it's time for America to change with it! Thirdly: I used to live in Australia, a country where they banned all semi-automatic weapons after the 1995 Port Arthur Massacre (the biggest in the history of the world - 35 killed) After those stricter gun laws were implemented, nothing like that has ever happened. Fourthly: GUNS DO KILL PEOPLE - the faster the gun, the more people you can kill. One of the main examples is September 11th 2001. If you are going to stand by the phrase: "guns don't kill people". Then think about this: What if Nuclear weapons were just as easy to get as Semi-automatic weapons? Do you think the Terrorists who flew the planes into the trade center might have used nukes instead?.....YES! So you might as well just say: "Nuclear bombs don't kill people, People kill people...."...well fine then, let's give nuclear bombs to all the countries! Go ahead and keep living by that stupid phrase and more and more and more people WILL DIE. Something has got to happen ore else, you will probably be one of the next victims at the mall or a school....and then when you are lying in your own pool of blood I'm sure you will say: "guns don't kill people, people kill people!" FACT: Australia abolished semi-automatic weapons after the Port Arthur Massacre and nothing like that has happened since. FACT: America has done NOTHING when many many innocent people die and MANY MANY more people have died and are going to keep dying until this country does something. Which looks like it's going to be nothing. -Peace. |

In March 2000, WorldNetDaily reported that since Australia's widespread gunban, violent crime has INCREASED in the country. WND reported that, although lawmakers responsible for passing the ban promised a safer country, the nation's crime statistics tell a different story: .Countrywide, homicides are up 3.2 percent .Assaults are up 8.6 percent .Amazingly, armed robberies have climbed nearly 45 percent .In the Australian state of Victoria, gun homicides have climbed 300 percent .In the 25 years BEFORE the gun bans, crime in Australia had been dropping steadily .There has been a dramatic increase in home burglaries and assaults on the elderly The violent crime stats are EVEN WORSE in Great Britain! Basically, you dont know WTF you're talking about, so maybe YOU should STF UP! You dont like or want guns, fine, dont get one, but dont you DARE tell the rest of us we cant have them. Matter of fact, you can just get your sniveling socialist A$$ on the next flight back to Australia since you're in such a goddamn hurry to be a victim, you anti-American, freedom-hating maggot! You sure as hell dont belong HERE. Your stench hangs over this forum like a giant fartcloud and I'm liable to NEVER get it out of my nose!

If a drunk person hits someone in a car head-on and kills them, should someone sue the auto manufacturers? Should cars be banned? or instead of blaming the car, do we blame the driver and punish him? why? |

In the second place I could ask "what if all the oceans dried up tomorrow" and get some speculatory replies, but that doesn't mean the oceans are going to disappear anytime soon even though evaporation takes place on a daily basis. My contention is and always has been that the NRA folks are over-reacting just like those who are in favor of gun control. Look at Al trying to rally the troops when not one single politician has introduced a bill to curb your Second Amendment rights, and to the best of my knowledge, no one is even working on one. |
