I guess they'll eat this fish, surely they can't take him to a taxadermist. Who could tote him?

Snapper fishing out of Gulf Shores. We caught lots of Snapper and Grouper, but unfortunately the two sharks took up most of the time. The first one 45 min. the second 1 hour 20. It sucked. 10-12ft seas standing up the whole time. My back was killing me. Cut squid was the bait.

I've only been deep sea fishing one time off Cancun in the 80's. I hooked about a 70lb Bonito and it kicked my ass. I finally got it near the boat and then it rounded the stern but my chair stayed put and would not swivel. The line snapped! POW! and the rod holder broke. Man those were some pissed off Mexicans. It was my first time and it's not my fault they were paying attention to a big marlin also in the queue.....Maybe they should grease their bushings in that old chair. I had lots of fun that day. We caught a barracuda, a mahi mahi (later cooked at a local restaurant) and a marlin, but no bonito...

Story: I was fishing down a Black Lake a couple years ago. Running set hooks. Me and my stepmother were gonna go bait up that evening, so we took the aluminium boat. I pulled up at a hook and grab it, was pulling it up and all sudden I let go of the line. I looked around, leaned back smoked a cig[ that was when I still smoked], then I pulled it up again and let go. My step-mother was like what is going on. I finally told her to come to the front of the boat, she said why? I told her I had a fish on this line and the dip net was back at the bank in the bass boat. All I had was a styrofoam ice chest so it would do nothing but float. I told her that fish was coming in that boat or we were going out of the boat but I was fixing to fight it. It ended up being a 45 pound opelousas catfish. That was fun.
