Good for them for getting these two , but my question is how much longer is Nesbitt going to stay on the bench???? AND I heard rumblings that Hightower (exmayor) and his buddies were going to be indicted. Has anyone else heard that?

This case reads like a John Grisham book. Here’s what I have gather from reading other boards.
Walker was hand picked and put in this position so that certain attorneys could use him and get what they wanted for their clients. He gave favorable rulings in exchange for all kinds of favors. Judge Claville's son Derrick is convicted of first degree murder and is housed at Angola for killing another man at college over a girl. Before that, Claville's son was caught with a pistol on school grounds (Byrd). The gun was traced back to the Juvenile Court evidence room. Turns out the Judge took the gun for "personal protection" and it ended up in his son's possession. I don’t know how much of this is true, but its sounding like there will be more dirt to come as the reports come out. Last edited by rhertz; 10-12-2007 at 04:27 PM. |

OH MY !! I can hear Jessie and Al coming to town. DemocRATS doing what they do best. Take the money and run to the casino. How foolish could a judge be ? They make good money and have clout big time but no that is not enough. Up the river home boy. I can see why the police get so mad at the judges after they risk their life to place law breakers in jail. Now the field is open and I feel sure the sharks are in the feeding mode to decide behind closed doors who will be next to play the price is right.
Now I like this cool air just about time for me to come back to Shreveport and pay you guys a visit |
