Maybe covered here already, but what stores do you need/want? I'll throw out a few off top of my head (and excuse me if you already have them) even though the population may not support one there, they're nice to have all the same -probably some things I'd miss if moved back to town.
*in general you have some good grocery stores - but they seem a few (5-10)years behind in what's offered, layout, etc. Mainly going by Kroger and what's the other... Brookshires -so my exposer is limited. But hey, if the prices are good that's not so bad. **REI would be a nice balance to the Bass Pro Shop. But build them far apart... in fact don't let them touch, it would be like matter meeting anti-matter... *** compare SAMs. a matter of taste I suppose. Not saying one is "better taste" then the other, just a different choice. I prefer COSTCO. |

Just received Morphette's one piece lavender ski outfit, mittens and two pairs of long underwear from REI online! I do wish we had one here, but I don't think the market is big enough.
Ditto with whole foods. Not enough wealthy liberals to make it fly. Most of the money is with the old guard republicans. |

Morpheus - yeah, Whole Foods, it's not cheap but the quality meat and such are great. Plus you can even "dine" there with the whole selction and range of prepared food options and food stations. There's not one here but my company is based in Redmond, WA and it's right next to a hotel I stay at from time to time. FYI: I got the REI co-op membership and get a few bucks back each year on on my purchases. Not sure if you bothered for one purchase (I joined in the mid 90s and not sure how much it was... but now a one time $15 fee)... |
