All of our kids have read the books and seen the movies. I've done none, thus asking for y'alls opinions...guess it's a little too late. I've seen enough snippets from the movies to feel like they are in line with Lord of the Rings etc. and that the good does overcome the evil. Also my girls are not youngsters. I agree with Jesse have them read read read...I know I love to and you are never to old to stop learning and expanding the mind.

I saw one of the movies and was pleasantly surprised. I've read 2 and they held my interest.

This does not come as a surprise. I have seen three of the movies with my daughter. J.K. test all the boundaries.

I'm rather surprised. But I'm sure Rowling just wants to be in the news one last time since she won't be writing any more Harry Potter.
