Sounds like Joe has just returned from Granite City trolling for 12 yr. olds again!

Actually, in this case, Joe is right. Because Salts did not perform any sexual activities with the girl, she cannot be held liable for rape. The police are charging her accurately when they bust her for pimping and contributing to delinquency.

However, this Larry Westwood guy CAN be held for statutory rape. He deserves the short rope and the tall tree. As far as Joe's comment about $140 being a good price, I guess only Joe has the experience and/or knowledge to accurately grade that sick deal.

How about "conspiracy to commit rape" or "accessory to rape" or something like that. Is that not a crime?

Nodding. I would think that some states might even have a blanket law for "conspiracy to commit a felony" or "accessory to a felony" that could be used by prosecutors no matter what the felony crime is.
