Oscar the Cat Predicts Nursing Home Deaths

The reporter that interviewed the people at the nursing home asked a very important and overlooked question, " Is the cat predicting death or responding to known practices?"
Seems this home has a policy of bedside vigil for someone during their last hours. Personnel play soft music, use aroma therapy and sit next to the patient that already has been deemed "in their final hour."
Then the cat comes in and lays next to the patient.
I would allow the cat..... keep those last hour people out of my room.
