I saw a show called "In Pot we Trust" last night on Showtime
http://www.sho.com/site/schedules/pr...077&seriesid=0 This one poor woman was single with 4 kids and she had cerebral palsey. She could hardly speak because her studdering was so bad. She said she smoked pot to be a more normal and better mother to her kids. Unless it was a staged setup, it seemed to work. Her speach was much more normal after smoking. Its bad enough to have CP, but to have to run out and "score" your much needed medicine seems awefully cruel to me. A real irony in the show is that there are 13 people in this country who are "grandfathered in" and are supplied with government weed for the rest of their lives. How consistent is that? Sir Isaac, assuming this documentary got the story right, the conservative republicans don't always get it right. Wish they did though. |

I agree with Joepole. I know of women who abuse doctor/patient privileges and drum up illnesses so they can have their medical fixes. I only took mine in when I was certain we needed prescriptions and or shots.

My children's pediatrician, Dr. Winterton, always trusted the mother's instinct. If I thought something needed checking he never doubted me.
