Does going to a church mean I attended the service and pretended to be a christian?

Or could it mean I helped someone like my mother decorate her classroom for Vacation Bible School?

I'll keep setting them up, honey, as long as you promise to keep diving into them head first.

Yes I did fall for your hook but I still say it is hypocritical to go and help your mother decorate her room for VBS an activity you don't believe in!

He had me going too. It's really interesting how it came out.

He said, "That might the dumbest thing I've heard today (and I went to a church today too)." This comparison implies that something he observed at church was also dumb. If he didn't attend the service, then what was it about the church that was so dumb and why is it related to this issue?

You're more likely to hear something dumb at church because you're more likely to encounter a really dumb person at church than you are at work or at home.

Well, maybe you're not, but I am. Brain probably is, too.

YOu don't have to go to church or work to encounter dumb people. All we have to do is listen to you and Brain.

What I "believe" in is giving children something constructive to do with their free time regardless of the educational value. It's the basis of every extracurricular activity from football to karate to 4-H....and of course, helping my Mother when she asks me to do so regardless of the task.

Sooner or later you guys will figure out that people CAN be decent and not christian at the same time.....

You do not have to be a Christian to be a decent man. I think good works and kind words will do wonders for everybody. There is good and bad in everybody and it is CHOICE as to which one will prevail. I am glad to see you help your mom and work to help children Brain
