George Orwell 1984 "Big Brother is watching"
Every where we go someone has a eye watching our moves. Now just because your paranoid does not mean there not after you :-) In Texas they
have a web sit for "Virtual Border Watch" http://www.texasborderwatch.com/index.php and you can click on and report any thing you see to the border patrol. Now with that said I think that George Orwell was ahead of his time. I know in my business I have security cameras. Comments from either side of the street are welcome. Isaac |

Yes, Big Brother is out there...alive and well. But this is STILL the United States of America, where the government does it's thing only by our consent, and not vice versa. This is perhaps the most important aspect of American life, and we must never allow our civil SERVANTS to forget that they are just that...servants to the public. Perhaps you've all heard by now of the movie "V for Vendetta" starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving...its an excellent movie on the subject of abusive, intrusive government. If you have not seen it yet, I recommend you do so.

How about right here in town? I see camera's atop traffic signals at intersections more and more often. Line Ave and Dumbarton for example. I suppose they are put up to record traffic accidents which is good to have things like that on tape. But I want to see these cameras on a webpage also like "Virtual Shreveport Watch". That might be good for missing traffic jams like the one on Burt Kouns late this afternoon. How about sharing a little of that Orwellian goodness??

"V for Vendetta"
I have seen "V" and like the Matrix the agents are alive and well. Hugo is a great actor and Portman is very good too. I came away with don't trust your government left or right ? Always watching :-)
