Union Rights
Absolutely!
The power of the Union to speak as one and to vote as many has always been one of its strengths. One of its weaknesses is for the union's voice to not necessarily be its concience. The conflict may be more of one relative to individual city employees being able to voice their support for candidates for elected city offices. But, if the city employees are members of a Union, then the Union should have the right to support a candidate for city office.
