She was covered with ticks and definitely malnourished when she strolled up Saturday. We've de-ticked her and have her eating three times a day to get her weight where it needs to be. People know when they dump a dog there will a soft heart some where that will take them in. This is why they go out to the country. When I worked on a dairy farm in collage the owner would just shoot them. He was a farmer not a kennel and these dogs can pack up and do livestock damage to new born calf's so he did what he had to do. So your dog Texasbelle is one of the lucky ones to end up at your house. Maybe you could start a dog rescue.
