Several vehicles were targeted by burglars in downtown Shreveport

I was the victim of several vehicle breakin's in downtown Shreveport. The last time, the police were too busy to show even up to the scene after a few hours and so they took the break-in report over the phone. Now that's efficiency! :) The only reason to call the police for such crimes is protocol in filing with your insurance.

I bet they wouldnt be too busy to show up if you'd just killed a burgler in your home! I bet thatd get em off their fat donut-eatin asses in a hurry! See, it has to be important enough to rate them takin time away from drummin up revenue for the city...you know, writin tickets and such. Gotta meet them quotas.

True they wouldn't be too busy to show for a murder report. I guess my point is then not too long ago, there wasn't nearly the number of murders so they had time to investigate simple burglaries (between righting tickets). What I find funny is their constant excuse they offer of being between "shift changes" which I don't buy at all.

Yeah..."between shift changes" my ass...I dont buy it either!

How long does it take to change a shift anyway?? :D
