What ever happened to respecting elders?

This story makes no sense to me! Why did he beat the 91 year old for keys? He was 22! He could have just pried them right out of his hands couldn't he?
I guess the beating was for some sort of sick enjoyment?? It's another sad tale!:mad:

Approximately 1/8 of the total adult black American population is currently incarcerated or on some type of probation/parole. There are currently more blacks in prison than in college, and an astounding 25% of all American black males will go to prison at least once in his lifetime.

Those numbers are astounding. Rather scary as well...

Oh BooHoo, This guy is saying he is afraid in jail and needs protection. My eyes cry buttermilk for him. Where was the 91 year olds protection?:laugh: :laugh:

His fear didn't deter his behavior in any way. Do you think the 91 year felt some fear? No sympathy here. He should have to feel that same fear. Fit punishment for the crime - along with his lengthy jail sentence!

I know that people get mugged, robbed, beat up all the damn time.. but somehting about this poor ol' guy... a 91 year old WWII VET !! just makes me freakin' ill to my stomach

Not sure what the stats are TODAY.. but I remember a few years ago reading that our WWII vets were dying off by the thousands per day.

I can't agree with you more, LN. We are losing such a heritage in these vets! To accost one is indescribably wrong.

You should have seen this poor man on the news, He had bruises on his face, throat, and down one arm. It really was shameful. And this punk wants protection.
