Have you tried the new PJ's?

It is in the new center on Youree under the big "Ball". It has great coffee at a lot less price than Starbucks and an outdoor seating area. It is also a Wireless spot. Makes you think of a real coffee shop in a larger town.

It cracks me up,, people willing to drive across town for a cup of coffee, or the price that gets paid for a cup of joe.. I guess, for me, if it's hot, that's good enough, I worked in a print shop for almost 10 years.. with these old guys who made the coffee every morning. it was like MUD the way they made it. got used to it, so now, any kind of coffee is good for me.

LOL I wonder if this kind of talk is tolerated on a "Roasters" site

I have never been to the PJ's under the ball.. but out on south youree across from LSUS, they used to suck. I go to Court Yard Coffee, who seems to be the best independent in town.

I also think court yard coffee is the best. I know the owner, Wayne and he works his @ss off and also he has the freshest roasts IMHO. I always prefer the independent coffee houses over *$
