NW LA Sports Radio

Can someone tell me why the sports radio is so horrible in this area?

I come from a small market that featured at least two 24/7 stations dedicated to sports talk. Around here it is a part time gig switching between stations to find a show here, a show there....who may or may not be talking sports, and even if they do, it is off the cuff and no real information.

Fletch? JJ & Bonzai? Are you kidding me? Complete amateurs - What a joke

I'd have to assume it is because there is no 'demand' for it(?) or that there is so much to do that no one really listens to the radio?
