Do you think that SBLive! should drop it's "rep point" system?

Couldn't care less.

What fun would life be if we "removed" everything from society that had the potential for abuse?

The reputation system is only at this point being used to help out your friends. People whine if someone gives them a negative not realizing that not everyone is going to agree with everything they say which is what the point system is for. People are calling in favors from their friends and it's not working and not going to work. Do away with it.

I say keep it. It lets members know how others feel about their posts. It appears only one member out of hundreds had a problem with it.

Yes, but they used others to help abuse the system and manipulate it in their favor. Did you notice that person's number jump over 150 points or something like that the other night? Now how did that happen?

To those receiving all the positive rep they can handle from friends and fans, sure. But to those getting constantly downed just because people would rather them appear less credible by this little button system being displayed under their name, it's a less glamorous way of showing your personality.

I say change it to allow the user being +/- repped to view who gave them the reputation, and make it required to state a reason for each reputation given.
