Kids take on lunch lady -- and win

Quote:
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) -- Even someone who believes you can fight city hall might think twice before taking on the lunch lady. But some second-graders who raised their voices over reheated frozen green beans are being rewarded with tastier vegetables.
Good for the kids. They are learning to stand up for themselves.

I have a lunch lady story. My daughter goes to the local high school here and this one lady in particular was the biggest b**ch. She would yell at the kids if their account ran out of money and therefore they wouldn't be served. You don't know they are out of money til they tell you on the spot so I did not find this to be fair. The next week I sent my daughter to school with 20 dollars in change I mean nickels, dimes and pennies loose in a baggie. The lunch lady had to count it she has since left but I made my point too!
