I love hippo tangs. Perhaps my favorite aquarium fish. I once knew a guy named Dan who had a hypo tang named doc that lived for years and years.

She is a beauty, but I know she will have to go one day-my tank is only 70 gal. One of my favorites is the flame hawkfish, who you can see on the far right peeking out from behind a rock. He seems to be the only one that is aware that there is a world outside the tank. Unless it's feeding time of course!

Its funny how the fish have their own little "personalities". I do miss my Aquariums- I still have one of my 125s, but really dont have the space to set it back up. Ahhh...One day...

Canon digital rebel. It's a digital SLR. "Only" six megapixels. The photos actually look better, but they are "downres'd" (I made that up) by photobucket. No flash needed thanks to the VHO's, so I just shot without one.

knock knock...housekeeping
Flipped some rocks, rearranged. Caused some cave-ins. Thought I crushed a shrimp, but he's okay. The tank denizens were NOT happy.
side view what a ham. |

Yes, I have the fish bug! My wife thinks I am a moron because I can stand in front of the tank for hours. I just added a new sump and protein skimmer and now I'm bummed because I am out of projects for the moment. Water quality looks stellar! I'm glad I'm not getting flamed for posting pics of my tank all of the time. |
