Post Miley Cyrus Coming To CenturyTel Center

Cyrus, daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, will open the concert with hits from "Hannah Montana" soundtracks. After intermission, she'll perform songs from her solo album, "Meet Miley Cyrus."

I am SO glad I don't have to go to that....I'm sure she puts on a nice show and all, but the little girl screams will pierce your eardrums! I took my daughters to see NSync a couple of times back in their heyday. The music wasn't that bad but the screams were at such a high decibel I didn't know if I'd ever recover.

My oldest is two so we haven't hit the concert-attending ages, yet.

I really don't care for concerts myself. Bands and artists seem to put so much emphasis on busting eardrums these days. I would enjoy a nice quiet symphony on occasion.

Have you had to do Sesame St. Live or My Little Pony on ice yet? Those are shows little girls just adore! Your day is coming...

Yes you should! She will love you for it! Maybe Billy Ray will show up and sing Achy Breaky Heart just for you for making the effort!
