Man sets out to Offends Village With Naked Mannequins

http://dailyquarter.com/

Quote:
A quarterer in Sarasota Florida tried to turn his home into a salon where women in bikinis would cut your hair. Predictably, he was turned down for a permit. So, naturally, he decided to get even with the village for “railroading” him by displaying some naked mannequins in his window–down the block from an elementary school:
On Sarasota’s North Tamiami Trail, two mannequins are causing controversy.
Some people say they’re offensive
He says it’s always a steamy scene that’s getting him and other neighbors very heated.
Less than two hundred yards from this window display, just across the street, is Bay Haven Elementary School
Well what you think of this. In some ways it's funny because all the man wanted to do was open a beauty shop. The city and neighbors prevented it. The bad side is the school.

How do naked mannequins hurt an elementary school?

Wink Not JUST a Beauty Shop

I have been in the salon business and I can guarantee that this guy isn't the first person to come up with the idea of having scantily clad girls cut a man's hair. As a matter of fact there's a salon in Dallas that has girls in undershirts and boxing shorts snipping away for $35 a haircut (Guys will do the craziest things just to see a little skin).

The issue isn't that he wanted to have half-naked girls cutting hair, it's where he wanted to have half-naked girls cutting hair. He should have rented a commercial space in a (pardon the pun) STRIP center, instead of invading a neighborhood with a bunch of kids in it.

Bill Cosby was right, it's the stupid ones that need counseling.

Girls in bikinis are a menace to our children! They will make our impressionable youth believe that it is OK to wear bathing suits!

Gigglefest in YOUR Front Yard?

It is okay to wear bathing suits - at the swimming pool. It's a question of appropriateness and taste. The man obviously had no sense of either.
