Thanks there HeadlyLemar. A former Illinois man.. I guess we'll let that slide.. from what I understand, Saints head coach Sean Payton spent many of his formative years there in Chicago

I stopped in a pizza joint in Springfield I believe it was, shot some pool and had a few beers with strangers.. had a blast.

I hope he learned some tricks while he was there. Everybody I have talked to think the Saints will blow the Bears out ? I hope that the Saints are not so over confident. Should be a great game and then the Big Bowl for the Saints
and let us hope its not the toilet bowl.

I don't think Coach Payton will let them get too confident.
Everyone was also saying we were gonna blow out the Eagles, and man that game was too close for my taste.

I try to keep telling myself that even though the Bears have a better record than the Saints this year, it's because the Bears had one of the easiest schedules in the league (what I've heard anyway).

Somehow they have managed to win all those games this year. But if the Saints manage to blow them out.. ALL THE BETTER !!!

The Showdown Draws Nearer

Under the guidance of Sean Payton, Brees, Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush, Marques Colston and company have been an absolute machine. The Saints, the National Football Leagues top offense in the regular season at 391.5 yards per game, went out last week and set this years playoff high total of 435 yards of offense against the Eagles in the divisional round. Even more impressive was the balance the Saints displayed, totaling 208 yards on the ground and 227 yards through the air. McAllister has the Bears' attention after running through the 'Birds for 143 yards.
