On this day - April 24, 1945
Truman is briefed on Manhattan Project

I'll admit that dropping the A Bomb was a pretty radical thing to do. But I feel it was nothing compared to the loss of life, not to mention, American loss of life, if we had invaded Japan. My Grandfather-in-law, he must be pushing 80. The man still gets up and goes to work everyday. My next door neighbor was a WWII vet as well. He had the best damn lookin' yard in the neighborhood. Everyday he was out there mowing, raking, weeding, he never stopped. Anyways, he passed away a few years ago. Our WWII vets are dying off by the 1000's everyday. I am constantly amazed by their sacrifice, and their work ethic. |

A Bomb
I agree with dropping the Bomb. I think we should do it again in Iran and nip it in the bud. Right before Shrillary takes office, and let her deal with the fallout. No pun intended.

Welcome to the board. I wonder how Hillary thinks she gonna get elected when so many people don't like her.
