Eddie Robinson seems to be a really good guy that truly touched many lives in a positive way. I think that this is the kind of person the African American community needs as a role model instead Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan. I have no idea but I bet that Bill Cosby liked or would have liked Robinson, what he accomplished, and how he accomplished it.

A great man indeed!

This was a fine man indeed! My grandfather, a former Lincoln Parish sheriff, and Mr. Robinson were friends from different backgrounds. They both helped keep the peace in Ruston and Grambling back in the day. It meant alot to me and my mother that Eddie although in poor health continued visiting my grandfather in the nursing home during the high sheriff's last days! He will be missed!
Condolences to his family and the GSU community!
