Russian Spy Operations on U.S. Reach Cold War Levels

These Russians are "NOT" to be trusted. Just because some people say the cold war is over does not mean these thugs do not want to cut our throat. Bill Clinton gave our CIA away in eight years and Russia would like nothing better than to try to take Alaska back. We did buy it from them in Stewart's Folly for 7.1 million dollars and Puntin in past has talked about the fact that the Russians got a bad deal on that and he was not happy. Evil empire ! Do not take you eye off of them

Yes, I agree. We should not trust them. People need to understand that those leaders from other countries will say one thing [lying the whole time] and trying to figure how to destroy us.

Thank you for your post Pie The Russians have been involved in just about every war that has come against the USA they have no plans of changing their game. http://nearabroad.wordpress.com/2007...ink-us-russia/

I get your point about Russia, however regarding linking countries together with telecommunications is a good thing IMHO. Communication is one way to help avoid wars. It is the countries that don't have computer links that scare me. They don't even want their own citizens to communicate. In some places, using the Internet grounds for severe punishment. I'm speaking of countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, and many more. Years ago I remember seeing a world map of places where it was legal and illegal to use the Internet. Some places (in red) had the death penalty for using the Internet. I don't know if that is still the case or not. We should all thank our lucky stars we all live in the USA.

Putin calls for new financial world order
By Neil Buckley and Catherine Belton in St Petersburg

Published: June 10 2007 19:10 | Last updated: June 10 2007 19:10

Russian president Vladimir Putin called on Sunday for a radical overhaul of the world’s financial and trade institutions to reflect the growing economic power of emerging market countries – including Russia.

Mr Putin said the world needed to create a new international financial architecture to replace an existing model that had become “archaic, undemocratic and unwieldy”.
