She could've been YOUR wife, mother or daughter!

All you men out there need to buy handguns for the women in your lives, then teach them how to use them. Help them obtain permits so they can carry them where ever they go. If you dont and tragedy strikes, you'll be just as much to blame as the dirtbag that assaults her. So do it NOW! Get off your tightwad, procrastinating, excuse making asses and make it happen! You single ladies out there are going to have to do it for yourselves. The Sheriff's Department offers free classes and training...all you need to do is show up. Carrying a gun is no guarantee that you'll come to no harm, but it sure as hell improves your chances of survival. Dont depend on the authorities to protect you, I can promise you they wont be there if/when it happens. Fortunately for you people, this isnt China, Canada, Australia, or the UK...this is the U.S., where you HAVE the right. Use it or lose it!

I have to agree w/ Al......... I bought a handgun years ago due to fear of the area. THere were so many car jackings going on and the area i lived NEAR i didn't feel safe. I have never had to use it but i feel for the person if I ever have to.
