Post Democrats on the Move

Democrats took control of the House of Representatives for the first time in a dozen years, but the crucial question of which party will run the Senate hung Wednesday morning on neck-to-neck contests in Montana and Virginia.

Democrats on the Move

They are on the move retreating from a enemy that will be able to follow there trail and bring more terror to America. Sad day when Rumsfeld a man of
much honor and a history of great service to our nation is out for doing what was right. The people have spoken and now will come the time to lay in the bed that is made before us. Maybe by 08 it will be Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton running for the Dems.

Both parties are about as corrupt as they can possibly get. Can't stand the democrats and their ineffectual feel-good policies...the dems figure if you just throw enough money at a problem it'll go away. They're the party of appeasement, big government, political correctness, gun control, the "takes a village to raise a child" concept....on the other side of the aisle, we have the fatcat republicans with their questionable ethics, empty promises, hookin up their golfin buddies with lucrative contracts, and general fleecin of the public coffers, not to mention the wanton attitude they take in regards to the lives of our young servicemen and women. All of them, dems and reps, check to see which way the winds are blowin first thing in the mornin when they get up before they say or do anything. Basically, theyre all just a bunch of elitist a-holes that are bought and sold by big business and special interests groups, and the only thing they REALLY give a rat's ass about is getting re-elected. We need to rid ourselves of these cons and parasites...just throw a net over the lot of em and force em to get REAL jobs and clip some coupons just like the rest of us...and THEN we can put people in office who do NOT have law degrees and who have NOT come from a life of priviledge...people who view government as a necessary evil and act accordingly, which means minimizin government where-ever possible, keepin it transparent and above board at all times, minimizin intrusions into our personal lives and keepin their filthy little ratpaws out of social security and off our guns. Public office should be viewed as a sometimes unpleasant chore that MUST be done so that this big house we all live in called America runs smoothly..like takin out the trash, changin the litterbox, whatever! When its your turn to do it...you'll be watched, and if ya do it right and well you'll be revered and respected...if ya do it half-ass or not at all, we'll all know it and you'll never live it down.

I don't think it is in our country's best interest to have the House and the Senate controlled by the Democrats. If they raise taxes our economy will surely suffer. Bush made a fatal mistake going to war with Iraq. It is Bush's undoing.

Al, as I read more and more of your posts, the more and more I agree with you.

I wish politicians were more outspoken like Handel.... "Marginal governance where I tell you have absolutely no hope!"

The world is now happy

Happy that the American yanks elected the Dems and there is good reason for that. Back to Clinton years of give away all our secrets and let the third world folks have there way with us. The dollar is in a power slide and there currency is looking better. They are seeing the writing on the wall for the next
two to six years. Moral decay.

One of the biggest mistakes made by the US in the past dozen years may very well turn out to be all of the missile technology that the Clinton administration gave the Chinese. (who couldn't launch an ICBM without fireworks before Clinton)
