This case reads like a John Grisham book. Here’s what I have gather from reading other boards.

Walker was hand picked and put in this position so that certain attorneys could use him and get what they wanted for their clients. He gave favorable rulings in exchange for all kinds of favors.

Judge Claville's son Derrick is convicted of first degree murder and is housed at Angola for killing another man at college over a girl. Before that, Claville's son was caught with a pistol on school grounds (Byrd). The gun was traced back to the Juvenile Court evidence room. Turns out the Judge took the gun for "personal protection" and it ended up in his son's possession.

I don’t know how much of this is true, but its sounding like there will be more dirt to come as the reports come out.
