Son of Jeremy Kennedy, 6 year-old Jackson, diagnosed with Brain Tumor: Needs Surgery

A brain tumor. That’s the diagnosis for 6 year-old Jackson Kennedy, as he currently receives treatment, and awaits the outcome of further tests at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. As their way of helping, members of the Bossier City Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 39 will host a lunch fundraiser for Jackson, the son of Bossier Police Offiicer Jeremy Kennedy, this Wednesday, January 9th, 11am- 1pm.
Lunches of grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks will be made available for purchase to all city employees, including police and fire personnel, for a donation in the amount of their choice. The public is also invited to attend. All monies collected will be donated to the family of young Kennedy.
When: Wednesday, January 9th , 11 am-1 pm
Where: In the Liberty Garden (outside, between the Bossier Police & Fire Departments) 620 Benton Road, in the Municipal Complex, Bossier City, Louisiana
Why: To help defray medical expenses not covered by insurance for Jackson Kennedy
How Much: Whatever you choose to donate.
A bank account for Jackson has also been established at Barksdale Federal Credit Union in the name of ‘Jackson Kennedy’. Anyone who wishes to donate to the account can do so by visiting any Barksdale Federal Credit Union location.
