Glad for once that we have cable and dish. Not really necessary except in cases of emergency like this! Is the new Grey's tomorrow night?

Isabella 01-10-2008 12:32 AM

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Isaac-Saxxon 01-10-2008 08:21 AM

Well this is leftover night, chili con carne, on the spicy side!;)

Morpheus 01-10-2008 05:23 PM

Oh brother, is tonight THE night? No wonder Mrs. Morph didn't want to cook tonight. I guess I'll get stuck bathing Morphette as well.

For Belle, Isabella and Leia

How many times can Meredith and Derek break up??
Izzie and George don't seem to have what it takes as a couple.

Isabella 01-10-2008 11:17 PM

I loved tonight's episode except for the Meredith and Derek part. They need to let them be a happy couple helping others. I hope they will let George and Izzie part ways and just be friends. Bailey's husband needs to come back home. The McSteamy storyline is hilarous. Those women really have him worried. I love Christina. Is this the last new episode?

I think it's because George has a teeney weeney.

You people know you can get over-the-air HD signals of all the major networks for free, right? OTA HD is actually a better picture than HD via satellite or cable, it's not like in the days of rabbit ears.

This site will tell you the best direction to point an antenna for digital reception:

A ballpark figure for Shreveport/Bossier is to point it towards Oil City.

You people !? You People !? what the heck is that supposed to mean ?? :)
I've tried using one of these HD antenna that sits on a shelf in the living room.. it all integrates real well with the DirecTV equipment, including these new found channels in the guide etc.. But damn if I have much luck getting these channels well. I've discovered that some of them work well when it's freakin' raining out compared to a clear day. I thought I might would have good luck, considering where I am in North Shreveport. I guess I need a better roof top antenna ... ?

TGIFF !!

My antenna is pointed more towards Springhill. However, I don't receive channel 6. I get all of the other ones. I had tried several orientations when I first set it up and this seemed to be the best, but maybe I need to reevaluate it.

I purchased a "medium" gain antenna. The kind you might mount outdoors, but mine sits on top of my built in media cabinet-mostly out of sight. I just did it temporarily, to check the signals, but the wife didn't complain so there it sits. Interesting to note, I get better reception in the house than in the attic (my original desired mounting place). The shingles cut the signal dramatically.

Mines is in the attic and works great. KTAL (NBC/Channel 6) is weak, though.

Sounds like you have been watching indeed since most of their problems seem to be in the sack!
