That is great he took his sweet time to finish his project. I hope it was a good one. This is wrong and they should not change the regulation to allow this. I know plenty of young men who were not able to finish the requirements to attain the rank of Eagle. Why do we have rules and regulations if they can be re-written at the drop of the hat? Next we are going to have gay scoutmaster.:confused:

Brutus, I can see you did not read the story because it states he earned the rank before he went to war. After he came home from the war he forgot until he ran across the paperwork years later. Where do you see that he finished the rank now? Read the STORY! They have not change the rules to accommandate him.:mad:

I never made Eagle scout. I almost made it though. I got tired of the other kind of BS in the troop I was in before I made it, so I quit.
