Elvis Fans Celebrate 30 Year Death Anniversary
 

Despite the promise of another furnace-like day, some fans began lining up early in the morning for the candlelight vigil, setting up umbrellas and folding chairs on the sidewalk along four-lane Elvis Presley Boulevard. The memorial was expected to run through the night and into Thursday, the death anniversary.

real Elvis fans, such as myself still believe that he is still alive!

I was pretty young the day Elvis died, but I DO remember my mother crying!

You know he just left the building and we will see him again :pray:

I'm more a fan of his older stuff.. the rockabilly stuff. He kind of lost me when he started wearin' the jumpsuit thing :)

even in his final years.. Elvis still had one heck of a voice.. could sing that Gospel like no ones business..
