Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord

Well it is Christmas night and I hope it finds everyone happy, full of food and love ones. And may it snow knee deep to a giraffe.:D:D

Isaiah 9:6-7
(6) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Merry Christmas and God bless!

We sure had a nice Christmas at the Hertz house this year. It wasn't the biggest this year, but it was one of the best. One question and one note. I watched "The Nativity" on dish last night and it was a great movie. Highly recommended IMHO. Question is what version/edition/translation of the bible do you use? I have trouble reading the KJV at times... Just curious. Merry Christmas!

I enjoy/recommend the James Moffatt translation. It's easier to read and has a concordance.
I agree KJV is difficult!
