Although I bet even a cop could get his burger spit on these days since using that firearm will likely result in a lawsuit. I guess the more society leans left, the more we need to get used to spit in our politically incorrect fat burgers. There is an irony in there somewhere... :D

Seems like earlier this year, some cop got his burger back with some ground-up glass in it. If ya tamper with somebody's food, ya oughta be shot on sight.

I agree Al, they should be shot on sight or they should have to sit down and eat the burger theirself.:D:D

That's being nice. Imagine what would happen in Saudi Arabia or Iran if someone of one race spit into the food served to someone of another race. Might cut out your tongue or cut a hand off. We are so civilized here in the US that we sometimes go overboard (i.e. Political Correctness) Perhaps one extreme needs the other extreme to keep the planet in balance.

I believe if someone spits on somebody's burger, they should have to sit in the middle of the eating area with a sign around his neck that says I spit on this burger and then they have to eat it.:laugh::laugh:

I went to the mcDs @ linwood and bertkouns today:eek:
Seriously, as a former McDonalds manager, I decided I would give the place a good look and this is what I noticed:
The place was spotless, even the floor and "stainless" in the work area.
I overheard the shift manager telling 3 different employees to wash their hands after handling cleaning utensils, and they did what they were told.
The employees were acting professional- no laughing and carrying on.
I noticed the shift manager "paying attention" to how the cashier handled me, and she was perfect.
I also looked at the food, how it was prepared, and packaged- what I noticed there was "by the book".(yes I still have all the manuals and training materials:laugh:)
The impression I got, was that someone in upper management came down hard on the minions to straighten that store up! I wonder if this thread has anyhing to do with it?:D Since I dont frequent that part of town, I could have simply been there at the right time....with a good manager on duty?
If anyone else notices anything like this-post it:D

Since you use to work for McD's what about the way the ones on Airline do.

vixweb 10-24-2007 05:34 PM

I actually Opened the one @ Airline and Viking- It was a big deal back then. But I havent noticed latley, I will make a point to critique them for this thread and let you know what I think. I really got the impression of NEW management at the one I went to today, and thats EXACTLY the problem you experienced: poor management- but we'll see!:D

I don't know if you are up to date on what I am talking about but go to lounge thread, 2nd page, got a beef you'll see the letter I was sent.

vixweb 10-24-2007 06:06 PM

I read the thread, That letter was caused by poor management who told corporate their version of your experiences, which led to the letter. They didn't want to admit that they couldn't get your order right- so you were labeled a pain in the arse! making a burger without cheese is not complicated! I would have written-up whoever was responsible, and if it happened again, they would be fired. These are BASIC management skills that are apparently lacking, partly because their wages run off anyone qualified. The reason I quit was because I wanted to stay in middle management, and they dont allow that. You have to move up to stay working there. Which is rediculous:rolleyes:

If you think I come down hard on McD's you know why. I have good reason, I hope those scumbags at those restaurants will somehow read these threads.

vixweb 10-24-2007 06:27 PM

I was trying to imply that with the first thread- You have plenty to be pissed at! And the things I noticed @ the one today maybe because someone that matters read this thread. Again, We'll see:peace:

Al Swearengen 10-24-2007 08:43 PM

Yeah, but see, if somebody wants to tamper with the food they can do it very easily without management or the customer bein the wiser. Thats the first thing. Secondly, food-tamperers are obviously amoral and should NOT be allowed to prepare food for others, the problem is identifyin them in the pre-employment stages. I think the maggots that'll tamper with your food are the same maggots that commit random murders, burgle homes, rob convenience and liquor stores, jack cars, mug pedestrians, rape women and molest children, and thats why I think they should be summarily executed on the spot when they're caught doin it.

Well these managers and owners need to read these threads because they should know what people think and to look at how many people are reading each thread. You know word of mouth can hurt a business eventually.
